Residential Home Health was awarded this honor based on the survey responses and feedback of its employees. Rankings were determined by employees’ anonymous responses to a set of 24 questions about key workplace factors such as managers, working conditions and career opportunities designed and administered by WorkplaceDynamics.

Residential Home Health passed another on-site survey in January 2011, making it the 3rd straight year of accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC).  ACHC is the Medicare-deeming authority for Home Health and DMEPOS (durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics and supplies) and evaluates home care agencies by measuring their organizational management, internal processes, patient safety practices and service outcomes.

Residential Home Health Recognized As Leader By LSVT Global

Thank you (Residential Home Health) for your recent hosting of the LSVT® BIG Training and Certification Workshop in Troy, MI on July 8-9, 2011. This course is the third that Residential Home Health has sponsored to train and certify their physical and occupational therapists in LSVT BIG. Residential Home Health has been a leader in adopting LSVT BIG as a best practice for treating patients with Parkinson disease. To date, Residential Home Health has the largest number of LSVT BIG trained clinicians in the world for a single organization.

Residential was the first Home Health agency to exclusively train their therapists in LSVT BIG. Residential has been a leader in educating the local medical and Parkinson communities of the services they offer with LSVT BIG.

In addition to LSVT BIG, Residential has also trained and certified speech-language pathologists in the LSVT LOUD program. Collectively these treatment programs cover a range of rehabilitative needs of persons with Parkinson disease and offer the best in evidence-based practice.
