  2. What is In-Home Healthcare?
At Residential Home Health, we define In-Homecare as providing the BEST healthcare services to patients in the comfort of their own home. We provide the best in-home healthcare because we hire only full time licensed nurses, physical and occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists as well as medical social workers to take care of our patients.
  3. How do you know if you need In-Homecare?
If you, or somebody you love, recently has had surgery, changed their medications, been hospitalized, had trouble maintaining their balance, or been diagnosed with a new illness, that person may need in-homecare. At Residential Home Health, we can provide skilled nurses, nurses’ aides or therapists to visit at home and help you live better at home.
  4. How does a person qualify for In-Homecare?
Under Medicare rules, a person qualifies for in-homecare if he or she is homebound and needs skilled medical care. Patients are considered homebound if absences from the home are infrequent, taxing, of short duration, or only to receive medical care. Generally, patients also are considered homebound if, because of illness or injury, they cannot leave home without aid devices such as crutches, canes, wheelchairs or walkers, special transportation, or another person’s assistance. One of the best ways to find out if you or someone you know qualifies for in-homecare is to call us at 866-902-4000.

  5. What services does Residential Home Health provide?
Residential Home Health provides a full range of in-home healthcare services that include skilled nursing care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language therapy, medical social services, and other services such as wound vac certified nurses, customized joint replacement programs as well as assistance with needs such as durable medical equipment, private duty and diabetic supplies.
  6. Why choose Residential Home Health?
Great question. You and your loved ones have a choice when it comes to choosing an in-home healthcare provider…many people do not know that, but the fact is, you have a choice so why not choose the best? Residential Home Health is in the top 5% of all Medicare-Certified Home Care Companies on a national basis for helping patients live better. This should make the choice easy, wouldn’t you say?
  7. Why does Residential Home Health hire primarily full-time clinicians?
It is simple. We hire full-time clinicians because we want them to be dedicated to Residential Home Health and to our patients. It also provides a great benefit for our patients as well. They get the same nurse to come to their home and take care of them…unlike many in-home providers who rotate their nurses. We found that having full-time nurses provides consistency of care, which means our patients recover faster and have a higher quality of life than other patients.
  8. Does Residential Healthcare work with the doctors?
Yes we do. Our dedicated and skilled clinicians help coordinate the care and/or therapy your doctor orders. In support of your doctor’s orders, we develop a written plan for your care. It explains what services you will receive in order to reach your best physical, mental, and social well-being. At Residential Home Health, we pride ourselves on staying in touch with your doctor to give your doctor up-to-the minute updates on how you or your loved one is doing.
  9. Does Residential Healthcare cover areas outside of Detroit?
We sure do, in fact we cover all of South East Michigan…from Port Huron to Jackson / Lansing, from Saginaw to the boarder of Ohio. We recently opened an office in Grand Rapids. We have licensed clinicians that many times live in the area they serve. For example, if your loved one lives in Grosse Pointe, we try to send out a nurse that lives in your area. It helps cut down the drive time for our nurses and makes our patients feel a little more comfortable knowing that someone in their community is helping them.
