Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a lung disease that makes it hard to breathe. COPD is associated with swelling in the lungs and is caused by damage to the lungs over many years, often due to smoking, asthma, pollution, frequent infections, or family history. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is often a combination of respiratory diseases including asthma, chronic bronchitis, and emphysema.
If you recently have been diagnosed with COPD, or you are visiting the hospital or ER more often than you would like, consider homecare from Residential.
